Located within the Golden Triangle of Art formed by the Prado, the Reina Sofía and the Thyssen-Bornemisza museums, the AC Palacio del Retiro hotel also boasts magnificent views over this famous park. But its privileged location is by no means its sole appeal. The classical style of its façade contrasts with the sleek contemporary decor found inside. As they enter the hotel, guests can admire the very latest in new decorative elements and art objects.

Built in concrete, horizontal wrought iron girders and carved wood, the materials and architectural elements in this four-story building have been preserved as much as possible. The rooms overlooking the Retiro Park will transport you away from the noisy city to a green haven. Each of the 50 rooms is equipped with 32-inch or 40-inch plasma TV sets, and iPod docking station, safe and a Frigobar. High-end bathroom amenities are provided by the luxury brand Natura Bisse. Double-height ceilings make guest rooms feel wonderfully airy.
